What I Wore This Week - Jul 4
A week of nursing friendly summer outfits. Shoes optional because social distancing day 3000.
Monday - Messy hair messy house.
Shirt | Denim Shorts (Sized up for a looser fit)| Mules
Both my shirt and mules are from Jenni Kayne. Their stuff is pricey for basics but the quality will last forever. Also keep an eye on the Nordstrom sale section as they often have deep discounts on her current collections.
Tuesday - Northeast heatwave. Needed something light and airy!
The dress is from Hatch Collection which is a maternity brand. I still wear a lot of my their items even though I am not pregnant anymore (and I’ll admit I wore a lot of their items even before I was pregnant). They don’t share a lot about sustainability or if their items are ethically produced, however since their pieces work for maternity and non-maternity I feel better purchasing since I will not discard them after a few months of wear.
Friday - Pants with an elastic back and no shoes because I am not going anywhere today.

This tank is old, but the brand Lacuasa has a ton of amazing clothes, and everything is ethically manufactured in LA. On top of that they donate to a rotating list of great causes.
Tip: Items with a low back (like this tank)can actually be easy to nurse in, because you can pull the shoulders down one at a time.
Saturday - Out walking with the babe and pups.
Tee | Bike Shorts | Sunnies (Rayban OLD)
Never thought I would wear bike shorts, but I found these that work on my body type! If you have thicker thighs like me, make sure to size up in most bike shorts as the thighs typically run small.
Sunday - Guest appearance from the puppy butts. I like to get a little dressed up on Sundays to add some normalcy to the week.
Dress (on sale, low back so easy for nursing)| Earrings (old, similar here)
This dress is from Mara Hoffman. If you grew up in the early 2000s you probably knew her designs as just neon tribal print swimwear. In the last few years she’s released stunning ready to wear collections with a focus on sustainability. Her stuff is the best for super unique statement pieces.
