Hanacure Before and After Results

I’m a few years late to the Hanacure game, but I have always been eyeing this slightly creepy mask and finally tried it since I’m no longer going to the salon for facials.

This mask is marketed as an “all-in-one” facial that claims to solve any skincare woe you could imagine. Now that’s a big claim! It also has a big price of $29 per treatment to back that up. My skin has never been a problem until pregnancy, but it has also never been great either (except for the month before my wedding when I was spending $$$ on nightly sheet masks…). My main concerns now are reducing hyper-pigmentation, evening out the texture on my skin, and preventing breakouts.

My new-ish True Botanicals routine has been good for correcting most of these issues, but I still was left with a bit of texture on my forehead, nose, and chin that was less than desirable. I used to get monthly facials with extractions to get rid of the texture, but am too paranoid to go to the salon with COVID still raging on. And I especially need to stay safe since our 4 month old is having surgery in a few weeks.

So I figured now’s the perfect time to try something I previously wouldn’t have for my skin. I’ll keep this brief since I know you’re mainly interested in the before/after photo.

What was the mask like:

It comes as a set with a liquid you mix together with a gel. Once mixed you apply to your face as you would any other mask. Then the mask gets really tight and you look like a swamp creature for a bit. I don’t want to scare you right off the bat, so I put the photo of the mask in all its tightening glory at the bottom of the post. The tightening is not painful, for me it just felt slightly more intense than having a clay mask dry on your face. Then you can just rinse off easily with warm water.

Results:

I ordered the 4 pack of masks and wanted to use them weekly to give it a fair shot. After the first use my skin was noticeably smoother to the touch, but that was really it. You could definitely still see the texture issues on my forehead and nose, and I did not notice any lifting or glow post use. The second use didn’t blow me away either.

HOLY COW though, the third use was the game changer. My skin was super smooth and you can really see the difference now. Again no noticeable lifting and not much in the way of reducing my hyper-pigmentation, but visibly getting rid of the texture on my skin was a huge feat. After the third use my husband even said it looked like my skin had been “filtered” which I take as a win! I did not change my skincare routine or how I applied the mask at all, I think it just took a few uses to see results.

Final thoughts:

I’ll probably continue using this for another month or so. Just because I am curious to see if it can truly perfect my skin. If the results stay about the same I’ll cut it out of my routine to see how much of a difference it really was making.

I am not an expert, so I cannot say how clean this product is, but I looked at (and googled) the ingredient list and they only things in question are all the synthetically derived peptides. Everything else I could recognize as a natural ingredient right of the bat.

After 3 uses. Check out the difference in the texture on my forehead!

Yep, that’s the mask pulling my lips apart…
